2012 Started out with a bang!  "The Great Escape" came out for starters. Then it was off to do a European Tour with
the famed "Rock meets Classic" with the likes of Jimi Jamison, Ian Gillan, Chris Thompson, and Steve Lukather.  
I was truly in my glory! Then it was off to the UK to do the gig of gigs...  "Firefest" in Nottingham where only the most
dedicated fans can be found gathered under one roof... and what a treat that was! About 3,000 screaming loving fans to
rock out with... This is one great big happy family!  

After "Firefest"  I'm off to a mini tour of my own in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, after so many years of studio
dedication and raising my daughter Olivia I finally had a night out... well make that 4 weeks out.

"2012 may have been the best career year in terms of satisfaction that I've ever had!"

Here we are and now it's 2013 and the gloves are off. The new Cd about to come out this August is just CRAZY GOOD!  
I don't know how it keeps happening to me that the greatest song writers in the world just magically appear and share
their talents with me.  What the hell... I must be going crazy! What did I ever do to deserve this? Thank you Karma :-)  
Must be all those years of takin' it in the chin as a kid.  Me and my clock radio... Anyone who's ever read my bio will surely understand.

Wrecking Ball is just me all over the place. The sentiment is my life story in terms of dynamics in many relationships...

Ain't That Just Like Love
So you all know by now that me and Fiona are buds... well in honor of our budship I just had to do one of her songs.  
Now we all know that she's raw energy and I really can't hold a candle to her to tell the truth... but man this song suits me...
Leave it to the woman to explain everything... this song is on a tangent to set things right...

Sprain
How about I'm too tough to get hurt so screw you! No more Mr. nice guy or gal whatever!
You wanna be a heart break, but you're at worst a sprain... get it?  I sure did ;-)

Underneath
ahhh the title cut of the album... so telling and so intimate that it will cause projectile tears to rush from your eyes...
Is this song about me? I don't know... maybe... but then again, who isn't it about just a little bit.

Catfight
Look out...there's jealousy about... that's all I'm gonna say... ladies... heads up OR OFF WITH YOUR HEADS!

Well true to form... we all gotta do that sometimes... This is about fairness in love and a no nonsense approach to honesty.

Burnin Me Down
A duet between James Christian and moi... a heart breaking saga filled with disillusion.

Perfect Storm
Rockin' the heck out of this song and letting it out... you are my perfect storm and very exciting.

You Can't Fight Love
The title says it all... you gotta give in when it's this real.

I Swear The Night
This is a fav of mine... I get to sing like a woman... and I love to be that.  She's gotta do what she's gotta do and it's all good.

Follow You
25 years in the making and I'm still in love with this song. Originally done by Glen Burtnick.  I did it live in 89'  then again in 2012...
I just had to record it... I love that it's all about you guys.

A MESSAGE FROM ROBIN

Hey everyone. I wanted to say hello and to let you know how much I enjoyed the tour "Here Comes Trouble"!
Many thanks to all my band members and to ITM for making it happen. Special thanks to Tommy Denander for catching my heart.

 I can't believe all the love and support that I got from everyone out there. All of you, every single one of you that came out to see me and travelled far and wide, I love you with all of my heart and thank you. You all made me feel like a queen on her throne.

 It's great to be home again but I miss you already. Can't wait to come back again. I just loved every bit of it.
I have many stories but the best ones are yet to come.

 I'll be here working on my new album with James and Tommy and I hope to be back out there soon to see you all again.

 I would also like to add that I had a blast at Firefest with everyone and will look forward to seeing everyone again in the future.
Bruce Mee is my Hero!!! Nothing like a good Festival with great artists and fun! fun! fun! Nottingham is a one of a kind event and it was an honor to have been included. Having said that I would also like to say how special it was for me to be able to sing for everyone who came out just to see me and my boys on the Tour that followed Firefest.  It was special!!! Can't compete with a festival for numbers but there was no lack of love x a million from the gang that stood before me to greet me every night.

ROBIN BECK HERE COMES TROUBLE TOUR 2012

We are excited to announce that Robin will be playing live dates in Europe during
October/ November 2012. The tour is entitled Here Comes Trouble and she will be joined by
James Christian of House of Lords who will be playing Bass Guitar and providing vocals in her band. Also in Robin's band will be Tommy Denander (Guitar), Jorge Salan (Guitar) and for the Firefest show only Eric Ragno will be providing his talent on keyboards.

**Robin Beck at Firefest 2012**

Robin will be performing live at Firefest 2012 in Nottingham, England along with a plethora of top bands from the Melodic Rock and AOR world.
She takes to the stage on Saturday 20th October and the event takes place at Nottingham Rock City.
Robin's husband James Christian will be playing Bass in her backing band along with other great
musicians such as Tommy Denander and BJ Zampa.

Rock Meets Classic 2012 is an evening with Ian Gillan (DEEP PURPLE), Steve Lukather (TOTO), Jimi Jamison (SURVIVOR), Chris Thompson (MANFRED MAN'S EARTH BAND), Robin Beck, THE MAT SINNER BAND & The Bohemian Symphony Orchestra Prague.

album produced by Robin's husband James Christian.
The album is currently in production and live dates are being discussed possibly in combination with
House Of Lords and Robin.

THE NEW ALBUM TRACK BY TRACK

After a while the good stuff starts to come out.  We took our time making this new CD and the results of our efforts are blazing hot!  
Working with James Chirstian (Producer) and Tommy Denander (Co-Producer) prove to be the winning formula for me.
I felt free to be creative and daring, to enjoy the music that we were writing and dare to dream bigger dreams.
10 original compositions written by- Beck/Denander/Christian, and a really surprising cut written for me titled, "Baby I'm Not A Bitch" by the Elements, a writing force from the UK.

Track 1. "The One" Beck/Denander/Christian
Telling your secret love that he's the one,can be the hardest thing you'll ever commit to as it unravels all your most vulnerable feelings.
I found this song to be really revealing for me.

Track 2. "Got Me Feelin' Sexy" Beck/Denander/Christian
Burning desire for the hot and heavy youthful and wicked attraction.  This is your top down, hair in the wind, devilish wink song.
Sinfully honest and upfront.

Track 3. "Inside Of Me" Beck/Denander/Christian
This song is one of my favorites.  It provokes all my feeling about how precious life is and how the best choice is,  to choose life.  
At the same time it presses the issue of being responsible for your actions, single woman listen up.  

Track 4. "That All Depends" Denander/Beck/Christian
Duet with Joe Lynn Turner of Rainbow and Deep Purple
This will be one of your favorites! No one serves it up better than Joe Lynn Turner and the song was just made for the two of us, literally...
 This song is talking about taking the bull by the horns and showing you girls how to keep him in line and get your
man at the same time... Love is thicker than disorder!  

Track 5. "Baby I'm Not A Bitch"
What a song... written by The Elements.  This song tells it like it is.  We are all just trying to get our point across.
Relationships are hard, but they don't have to be impossible... just tell him, I hate you cause I love you, and it's just how we are.

Track 6.  "Everything Is Alright" Beck/Denander/Christian
Did you ever feel like your partner wasn't listening and you just wanted to give to em'?  
Well here's your new Anthem-Don't tell me when to laugh, don't tell me not to cry, and don't tell me everything is alright!  
Get it off your chest kinda song that rocks from beginning to end.  

Track 7. "The Great Escape" Beck/Denander/Christian
A song about love that goes unappreciated, but by the end we can all appreciate why someone would not stay if they didn't feel loved.

Track 8. "Don't Think He's Ever Comin' Home"  Beck/Denander/Christian
I almost didn't make it through singing the lyric of this song... it's so emotional and broken hearted.
How does one survive losing the love of their life when they never saw it coming?  
How do keep believing when there's nothing there? Drag out the hanky cause you're gonna need it.

Track 9. "Cross My Heart" Beck/Denander/Christian
Tiger Woods tribute- This song is for all the jilted woman. Cheater and liars beware.... This song will show no mercy!
"Cross my heart and hope you die"-

Track 10.  "All The Rivers" Beck/Denander/Christian/Kent
 This song is a poetic verse on trying to survive the ups and downs and ins and outs of life in general.  
Make it your own... everyone has a story to tell but you gotta pick yourself up by your bootstraps and make it back to what you believe in.  
Turn inward to find the answers.  

Track 11. "Till The End Of Time" Denander/Jidhed/Bjorn Lindbom
Another fantastic duet between James Christian and me... what can I say... the song was made for us... a true lament of how
we really do feel and to close this album that was made with so much love and so much commitment that the song just sang itself!  

I have never had more fun or more excitement making a record before this one...
Every single song means something to me and is straight out of my own journals...
I should have named the album "The Plain Truth" straight from the heart -
Hope you get as much enjoyment out of listening to it, as I did making it!
